Breakage of cleaning needle in the root c during Root C Therapy procedure?

While the doc was cleaning my roots with her needles, one needle broke in the root cavity and is now stuck deep inside. The doc has given me two options: a) She can extract the tooth altogether and have a new implant b) She can cut the tooth in two and remove the portion with the affected root and put a new full crown on the remaining portion. What should i do?
