The situation with illegal aliens and our country?

okay, My girlfriend is mexican and in the U.S. "illegally" not a big deal to me. but apparently others don't feel the same way. i have heard all the arguments yada yada. I have traveled to mexico with her visited her grandparents and Other family no problems wonderful people. why such a stigma against mexican immigrants? i don't see what harm letting good people come to the country? i have heard "they steal our jobs" but really? i don't see any illegal aliens with good jobs. no illegal alien doctors or bankers, just underpaid construction workers. it sounds like just pure bigotry to me. and dont call me un patriotic im an ex recon marine with 2 tours in iraq one in afganistan and a purple heart rcieved for the bullet i took in the stomach in fallujah. but anyways what do you think about mexican immigrants?
