Man, I am 19 and i want to take a trip somewhere.?

The thing is i still live at home, and I have very protective parents. I am going to college this fall, but i will still be living at home. Um I am quitting my full time job to go to school in july and am due for a vacation as i have been there one year. i have been saving so much money for school and should have a little left over. and i want to take a trip and go somewhere. but i have never been anywhere and i have very overbearing parents who im sure will not let me go anywhere anyways. i really like want to go to new york for a mini vacation. but i know they wont let me. im a responsible 19 year old who has done nothing but work work work since i graduated high school two years ago and i deserve a trip somewhere!! help!!
