Nits! How can I get rid of head lice - pesticides just DON'T work?

To add to Bandini's -- pillows need to be washed and thoroughly dried too -- or just replace them. I used bleach and a very hot dryer. My rule of thumb was that if it came within 3 inches of the hair, it got washed to death and dried hot.
