What is the frat boy type?

I know what a fraternity is, and that the guys in them usually drink endless amounts of beer, but my friends keep telling me I need a frat guy not a sweet guy. So, my question is...is there anything that defines a frat guy besides actually being in a frat and drinking? Thanks for that help!
