Does my boyfriend still have feelings for his ex?

We've gotten into it about her before.... like a year and a half ago when he claimed he was still in love with her. although today he claims he's in love with me only and admits that he only had feelings for her. But I had a dream like a week ago that he still has feelings for her. i was really hurt in my dream bc at one point of our relationship (in real life) i thought that maybe she was the one for him and not me since she had recurred in his life. Back to the dream: She came walking into an unknown place (restaurant/clroom maybe...idk) and he just stared at her like he was shocked and like feelings had rekindled between the two of them.. what does this mean? i don't even think about our previous history with her anymore and i'm (for the most part) over it. just wondering why i had a dream like that out of nowhere.. i know it's only a dream but it just brings me back to the place i once was with him u know? being in love with him while he claims to still be in love with his ex which at the time made me think she was the one for him.. but yeah.. any suggestions on what this dream is telling me?
